Splash Week...............

MATH:
· We will start to work on chapter 7.
· There will be math homework on Tues. & Thurs.
READING AND SPELLING:
· Our story is Splash. It is a story about a girl that is in the rain.

OTHER NEWS:
Book IT!! Each time you read a book at home – write it down on a pizza slice. When the slices are filled, bring it to school. I’ll give them a Pizza Hut Certificate for a free pizza!! Zach has already brought his in! Good job Zach!

EVENTS THIS WEEK:
· Coats: Send coats to school with your child. They need to have working zippers and probably hats for recess.
· End of Grading period on Friday
· Early Release on Friday: Kids come home 2 hours earlier. Pick them up at 1:10 if they are a walker.

NEXT WEEK:
Fall harvest party
o Wednesday Oct. 31st at 2:20
Unfortunately the kids are not allowed to dress up to school.
· Candy/Treats: You can send in some packaged candy or drinks for the 18 kids. Thanks!
· Ideas: Juice Boxes, Halloween pencils or toys, cookies, packaged candy, etc. Thank you very much for all of your help!
