Tuesday, we had our Christmas Program. Miss Hemminger worked so hard to organize this! She always does a wonderful job! The kids WOWED us with a great performance!
Wednesday, we watched the Polar Express in the morning with all of the first graders.
They received a bell to remind them to still believe in Santa. We are working on a Polar Express sequencing paper tomorrow morning to see if they remember how the story went.In the afternoon on Wednesday, we did a relay race with 3 of our first grades. We broke up the class in 3 groups.
We played a jingle bell game with 3 teams. They had to run down and put the jingle bell bracelet in the hula hoop and then run down and get the next person! Team 1 won this game! But a great job to all!!!
The second game was a relay race to decorate a Christmas Tree. One student from each class got to wear a paper tree. The other students had to run down and put their ornament on the tree. The last person in the line had to put on the star! Team 2 won! Hooray!
The third game was tossing a piece of paper through a Christmas wreath. Team 3 won! Each team won a race!
Mr.Fauver came in and joined in our fun!
