Sight Words:
I have started to test your child to see if they know their sight words for the first 9 weeks. I will be sending home a copy of the word list and the words that your child does/does not know. Please practice the words they don't know before the end of the first 9 weeks. If they knew the word - I put a check mark or a line by the word. If they didn't know it - I left it blank or it has a circle.

Study these words.
You can put the words on an index card. Put 10 words in at a time. When they know the word - put in a new word. Take out the words that they know. Throw them back in a few times for review. It's important to have words in there that they do know to boost confidence!

Check to see what kind of day your child had! They will color it green if they had a good day. If they had to flip cards they will color it Yellow, Orange or Pink. Look for a note if it is orange or pink.
· Sign the Reading HW paper. Make sure it gets back to school every day!!! Check the group paper to what their HW is that night.
Fundraiser
· If you sold anything – the money needs to be turned into school now!
It will be next week on Wednesday! If you have a card at home or have the yellow paper to fill out – bring it for next Wednesday the 19th!
