1. Spell these words: music, clover, fever, minus, crazy

2. Code these words: baby, spider, Venus, robot, tulip (remember to divide the words by syllables, code all vowels and look for vowel and consonant patterns)

3. Know these sight words: any, many, love, move

4. Match up and read these sounds: long a, long e, long I, long o, long u

5. Read this story and answer questions: Jake has a horse. His horse likes to chomp on grass, hay, and sweet grains. Jake will brush her and take her for a ride in the woods. After he gets back, he will brush her again and let his horse cool off. He will offer her a drink and rub her belly. This will be Jake’s way of thanking her for a nice ride.
