The Shopping List

Snow Days:
I have heard we are supposed to get a lot of snow this coming week. I have put school closing websites on the right sidebar. You can click on those sites for closings or delays.

Food Pictures:

  • We are working this week on The Shopping List.
  • We are going to make a cupboard full of food.
  • Please bring in a few pictures of food by the end of week.
  • We are going to sort these pictures by healthy foods and unhealthy foods.

Spelling:
There are now 12 words and not 10.
The last two words are sight words that are hard to spell and do not follow a usual phonics pattern.

100 Day Projects

  • This project is to be done at home.
  • Do not hurry this project.
  • You have plenty of time to complete it
  • Come up with a creative idea of something to collect.
  • I put examples on the blog earlier. Refer to those pictures to get ideas. Try not to do exactly what is on there.
  • I put those on there to give you ideas and to show you the level of work that I expect. These projects got A+. Any projects that does not have this level of neatness or care into it will not get an A+.
  • Please have your child spend TIME on this project.
  • I do not want it to be something they just threw together in 5 minutes.
  • Have some pride in this – they should be proud of it and want the whole school to see it in the hallway.
  • If they are drawing, use crayons, markers, glitter -- NO PENCILS!
